The Vice President of Product Design is responsible for overseeing the design and user experience of all product lines. This role involves building and leading a team of product designers to create innovative and user-centric products that align with the company’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design, extensive experience in leadership, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.


What you will do: 

  • Develop and execute the product design strategy in alignment with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective product designs.
  • Oversee the entire product design lifecycle, from user research and concept development to prototyping, testing, and final implementation.
  • Ensure all product designs are user-centered, addressing user needs and enhancing user satisfaction and engagement.
  • Maintain and evolve design systems, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all products.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and integrate relevant innovations into the design process.
  • Present design concepts and strategies to executive leadership and stakeholders, clearly articulating design decisions and their business impact.
  • Manage design budgets and resources, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness in the design process.
  • Build a team of product designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
  • Continuously lead, build, coach and inspire diverse staff with the goal of ongoing individual improvement and retention, establishing a culture that encourages and motivates members to achieve their maximum potential

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in product design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading successful product design projects and teams.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of product design work and innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies clearly.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, InVision, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and user experience best practices.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into effective design solutions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in Saas organizations
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and design thinking.
