Our sales team is a high-growth, revenue-driven unit within a fast-expanding SaaS company. An effective SDR will understand Responsive’s vision, strategic goals, and market positioning. You will leverage messaging, research, and multi-channel outreach—including email, phone, and social media—to nurture and qualify leads that can convert into opportunities and new customers.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) team is the primary driver of new business opportunities at Responsive. Through outbound opportunity generation and inbound lead qualification, each SDR plays a key role in the lead-to-pipeline process. The primary focus of an SDR is to introduce qualified prospects to their Account Executive counterparts.

Responsive’s sales team is a revenue-driving team in a high-growth SaaS company. An effective SDR will understand the company’s vision, goals, and strategy. You will maintain up to date knowledge of the Response Management market. As a part of the sales development team you will leverage messaging and collateral, conduct research, and perform outreach activities to nurture and qualify leads that will convert to opportunities, and ultimately new customers. SDRs should be comfortable communicating across a variety of channels including email, phone, and social media.

Essential Functions

  • Prospect actively to generate qualified opportunities, focusing 80% on outbound activities and 20% on inbound lead qualification
  • Conduct daily outreach, including cold calls, targeted emails, and social media engagement
  • Use research and intent signals to create personalized messaging strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives within a POD environment
  • Conduct qualification and discovery calls to assess prospect needs
  • Log all activity and updates in Salesforce CRM
  • Execute outreach sequences via Outreach or similar tools
  • Meet or exceed activity metrics and sales-qualified opportunity targets
  • Schedule product demonstrations for Account Executives
  • Develop and execute market penetration strategies alongside sales colleagues
  • Relay market feedback and insights to the broader sales team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • At least 2 years of experience ideally in a similar B2B sales development role
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions or in a high-growth environment
  • Familiarity with sales technology like Salesforce, Outreach, LISN, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, and Demodesk
  • Comfortable working with KPIs, quotas, and performance metrics
  • Proven ability to perform account research and craft personalized outreach campaigns
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and incorporate feedback
  • Interest in AI and emerging technologies
  • Positive attitude and sense of humor appreciated!

What We Offer

Responsive uses a market-based compensation philosophy. A candidate’s starting base salary will be determined by the specific responsibilities of the role, as well as job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and current market trends. The compensation range for this role is €50,000-€90,000 On-Target Earnings (base + commissions), depending on experience and location.  Our recruiting team will provide details on the applicable range as well as other benefits based on your location during the hiring process. 

 

Responsive embraces a global flexible workforce model with offices in Dallas, TX, Kansas City, MO, Coimbatore, India and Dublin, Ireland. For this role, candidates must be located in Ireland or the United Kingdom.
