About the Role

Responsive, the leading response management software solution on the market, is seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Sr. Treasury Analyst. This individual will be responsible for managing our organization’s financial activities, ensuring efficient liquidity management, risk management, and financial planning. This will be an extremely visible role with frequent exposure to senior leadership and founders. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail oriented, and driven to make an impact on the company’s operations. Reporting to the Director of FP&A in the US, the Senior Treasury Analyst should be comfortable adapting to changing circumstances, be entrepreneurial in spirit, and be capable of influencing and affecting change at the highest levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will want to move beyond everyday responsibilities and into a role as a strategic advisor to the business.

We are specifically looking for interested candidates who are located near Bangalore, Chennai or Coimbatore.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily cash positions, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Forecast short-term and long-term cash flow.
  • Reconcile cash positions with bank statements and internal records.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Facilitate bank transactions, including wire transfers, loan payments, and currency exchanges as requested.
  • Optimize banking processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Facilitate account opening/closing, signer management and other KYC requirements.
  • Assist in managing the company’s investment portfolio, ensuring compliance with investment policies.
  • Analyze market risks (interest rates, foreign exchange) and recommend hedging strategies.
  • Execute trades in accordance with the organization's risk policies
  • Maintain data required for the renewal of insurance policies – support data collection and cost comparisons.
  • Monitor and manage debt, ensuring compliance with debt covenants.
  • Assist in debt financing strategies, including loan agreements and refinancing.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on debt and liquidity status.
  • Prepare and analyze treasury reports, including cash flow forecasts, liquidity reports, and variance analyses.
  • Support weekly, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and auditing requirements.
  • Collaborate with financial planning teams to align cash management strategies with company goals.
  • Support the budgeting process with cash flow projections and scenario analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate treasury policies.
  • Maintain documentation related to treasury operations, including bank mandates, loan agreements, and investment policies.

Education

  • BA/BS/B.Com in Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation or progress towards certification

Experience

  • 3-5+ years corporate treasury experience in a multinational company
  • 7-10 years total financial analysis experience
  • Experience working in technology, management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, and/or private equity
  • Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and financial software (Excel, Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Tableau, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills & Ability

  • Strong knowledge of cash management, financial markets, and banking operations.
  • Knowledge of international banking regulations and foreign exchange markets.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Extremely strong financial modeling skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation skills – you tell the story, you don’t just report the numbers
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and SaaSaccuracy metrics
  • The ability to “dive deep” into the details, coupled with the ability to “come up for air” and present summarized findings to company leadership
  • Natural curiosity with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, prioritizing and executing multiple tasks simultaneously
