About the Role

The Senior Product Manager is a senior individual contributor role responsible for defining product strategy, shaping product vision, and driving execution for key product areas. This role mentors the Product Owner on the team without direct people management responsibility and has a direct impact on Responsive’s product direction and business outcomes. 

Essential Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Own and evolve the product vision and strategy for assigned areas, ensuring alignment with company goals, customer outcomes, and long-term growth.

  • Anticipate market trends and competitive dynamics, define success metrics, and use insights to drive roadmap and prioritization decisions.

Customer & Market Expertise

  • Develop deep understanding of customer workflows, personas, and decision-makers across enterprise and mid-market segments.

  • Act as the voice of the customer by translating feedback, research, and usage data into clear problem statements and product opportunities.

Product Discovery & Solution Design

  • Lead product discovery to validate problems and solutions, partnering with Design to deliver intuitive, scalable user experiences.

  • Translate strategy into clear requirements while balancing usability, performance, scalability, and technical feasibility.

Technical Collaboration & Execution

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering on APIs, integrations, data models, and platform architecture, demonstrating strong technical fluency.

  • Own the roadmap and prioritization, making informed trade-offs across customer impact, business priorities, and technical investments.

Stakeholder Management & Go-To-Market

  • Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success without direct authority.

  • Partner on go-to-market planning, launches, positioning, and enablement to clearly communicate product value.

Data-Driven Decision Making & Adaptability

  • Use quantitative metrics and qualitative insights to evaluate performance, validate impact, and guide decisions.

  • Adapt priorities and approaches in response to new data, customer feedback, and evolving business needs.

 

Education

  • B.E. / M.Sc / MCA in Computer Science or a related technical field. 

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management.
  • Proven track record managing products through the full lifecycle.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders without authority.
  • Technical background or exposure to software development preferred.
