About the Role

Responsive is looking for Senior DevOps Engineer with good experience and skills. DevOps
Engineer will work closely with clients and IT team members to understand the departmental
stakeholder requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

● Maintaining operating systems and software for Cloud servers, ensuring patches are applied, etc.
● Dealing with network security issues for Cloud servers.
● Deploying servers and application stacks as required for new Cloud services and projects.
● Using automation tools to perform routine system administration tasks.
● Producing documentation for Cloud infrastructure and automated processes.
● Keeping the Cloud product board up to date with reported bugs and feature requests for release planning.
● Working with the Cloud product board to prioritize development activities.
● Improving the packaging and delivery of Cloud software.
● Overseeing the software release process, updating documentation and assembling release notes.
● Responding to bug reports and feature requests across the Cloud reference toolset.
● Development work as required for Cloud collaborative projects.
● Development of high-quality test data sets for Cloud software and projects.
● Maintenance and development of integration tests for Cloud software products.
● Planning for Disaster Recovery and aid in the Business Continuity Plan.

Education

● B.E. / M.Sc / MCA in Computer Science or a related technical field

Experience

● At least 6 years of experience as a DevOps.
● Broad understanding of networking.
● Experienced with Docker containers management and orchestration.
● Experienced with Continuous integration tools.
● Experience with building and supporting infrastructures for high volume data and data
● processing (NoSQL DBs, stream processing, message queues, etc.).
● Experience with IaaS cloud solution (preferably AWS).

Knowledge, Skills & Ability

● Good interpersonal communication and written skills in English.
● At least one scripting language.
● Exceptional troubleshooting, Independent, self-motivated team player; meticulous and
methodical in creating solutions.
● B.E in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience – plus.
● US or foreign countries experience in an internet start-up companies and Product
● Development experiences a huge plus.
