About the Role

 

The Senior Account Executive manages the development of our prospective customer base. A successful Senior Account Executive will develop a comprehensive understanding of the software and will be comfortable providing demonstrations, answering prospective customer questions about the software, defining processes on the fly and will work closely with the sales development, contracts, marketing, and product teams to close deals.

As a member of this rapidly growing team, a Senior Account Executive will have a direct impact on Responsive go-to-market strategy, and will provide prospective customer feedback that will directly impact the development and improvement of the company’s cornerstone software.

Essential Responsibilities

 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers to drive revenue and identify new opportunities
  • Qualify leads received from the Sales Development Team
  • Keep prospects informed about new products, features, and roadmap updates
  • Negotiate pricing with customers to align with business goals
  • Coordinate with the Contracts Department to finalize agreements
  • Manage and develop a sales pipeline and forecast to exceed quotas
  • Handle daily tasks such as client outreach, appointment scheduling, presentations, and proposals
  • Support senior management with account planning and monthly activities
  • Use sound judgment to solve problems and delegate across account teams
  • Manage specific projects independently from initiation to completion
  • Contribute to PR strategies, marketing plans, and social media initiatives
  • Support partners throughout the entire sales process
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets on schedule
  • Build strong working relationships across internal and external teams
  • Maintain accurate lead and customer data in the CRM system
  • Stay current with sales best practices and industry trends
  • Introduce closed deals to the Customer Success Team for onboarding
  • Participate in and contribute to monthly forecast meetings

Education

 

  • Any Bachelor’s/ Master's degree (Preferably Sales Stream)

Experience

 

  • 5-8 years software sales experience (SaaS preferred)

  • Able to consistently achieve sales quotas 

  • Experience with RFP processes

  • Experience selling to enterprise/corporate accounts (SaaS preferred)

  • Experience creating quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales plans

Knowledge, Ability & Skills

 

  • Self-motivated and adaptable

  • Strong time management skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated competencies in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, and web demonstration/ conference platforms

  • Skilled at presenting self-run demos
