About the Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the delivery of high-quality, robust, and scalable web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive quality across the SDLC, and help prevent defects with early detection strategies. Your role is critical in shaping a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

What you will be Doing

  • Participate in all stages of product development from requirements to release

  • Design and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

  • Perform manual and automated testing of web applications

  • Identify, document, and track bugs to closure using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers in agile teams

  • Develop scripts and maintain automated test suites using tools like Playwright and Karate

  • Own regression testing and sanity checks across releases

  • Participate in root cause analysis and drive improvements

  • Bring a continuous improvement mindset to testing strategies, tools, and processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Experience

  • 3-5 Years of proven working experience in quality engineering

Skills, Qualifications & Ability

 Qualifications & Ability:

  • Strong hands-on experience in UI automation, API testing, performance testing, and quality engineering.

  • Expertise in building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.

  • Proficiency with Playwright, Karate, JMeter, Postman, and similar testing tools.

  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.

  • Experience with BDD frameworks and best practices.

  • Hands-on experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).

  • Experience working in Agile environments and cloud-based testing.

  • Understanding of AI concepts, AI-powered applications, AI testing, evaluation methodologies, and RAG fundamentals.

  • Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, or similar.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with SaaS or B2B products is an added advantage.
