About the Role
Responsive is seeking a Director of Scaled Growth Marketing to drive pipeline creation and lifecycle engagement across our Commercial segment (SMB + Mid-Market). This leader will own the strategy and execution of Responsive’s scaled growth engine, generating inbound demand, accelerating adoption of Responsive Lite and Flywheel, and expanding accounts efficiently at scale.
Reporting to the VP of Growth, the Director will collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Alliances, and Brand/Creative to deliver integrated campaigns that fuel Responsive’s fastest-growing business unit.
Essential Functions

Own Commercial Pipeline Targets (SMB + Mid-Market)

Lead marketing programs that deliver new business SQOs and pipeline for SMB-focused and new PLG products.

Partner with RevOps to define funnel metrics and track attribution across channels.

Design and Execute Scaled Campaigns

Run multi-channel inbound programs (SEO, paid search, review sites, outbound email, nurture flows) to drive efficient pipeline at scale.

Develop onboarding and adoption campaigns that accelerate time-to-value for self-service customers.

Partner with the Creative and Integrated Marketing teams to align on creative campaign strategy, content creation needs, and channel orchestration.

Persona-Based Campaigns

Build and scale campaigns targeting priority personas in the Commercial motion.

Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure messaging and offers resonate with each persona segment.

Identify relevant channels to reach priority personas at each step of the intent formation process.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Act as the connective tissue between Growth, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Alliances, and Brand/Creative.

Ensure alignment of campaigns with product launches, customer journey milestones, sales plays and partner motions.

SEO, GEO, and Content Accountability

Own accountability for pipeline outcomes driven by SEO, GEO, and content marketing.

Partner with the Web SEO/GEO Center of Excellence for technical execution and optimization.

Ensure alignment between content, SEO, and growth priorities to maximize SQO impact.

Test and Scale New Channels

Pilot and evaluate emerging growth levers (podcasts, OOH, direct mail, community sponsorships) to identify scalable demand sources.

Scale programs that deliver consistent ROI.

Knowledge & Skills
-
Growth, demand generation, and lifecycle marketing (within B2B SaaS)

Creating pipeline at scale through digital channels (review sites, SEO, AI-driven search, new media)

Product-led marketing strategy and execution

Persona-driven campaigns, onboarding, lifecycle, and nurture automation

Cross-functional collaboration (Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Alliances, etc.)

Data analysis — funnel metrics, ROI/CAC payback modeling, marketing attribution

Strategic and operational execution (able to zoom out and execute precisely)

Creative problem-solving and idea development (challenging assumptions, stretching ideas)

Team management and leadership (campaign managers, specialists, contractors)
Qualifications
-
8+ years of experience in growth, demand generation, or lifecycle marketing within B2B SaaS (ideally SMB/PLG exposure)

Proven track record of generating pipeline at scale

Bachelor’s degree (required)

MBA (preferred)
Additional Information
Responsive uses a market-based compensation philosophy. A candidate’s starting base salary will be determined by the specific responsibilities of the role, as well as job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and current market trends. For this position, the base salary range is $175,000-$225,000. Our recruiting team will provide details on the applicable range based on your location during the hiring process. Please note that this range covers base salary only and does not include bonuses, equity, or benefits.
Responsive embraces a global flexible workforce model with offices in Dallas, TX, Kansas City, MO, Coimbatore, India and Dublin, Ireland. For this role, candidates located in Dallas, TX will be given priority consideration.
