About the Role

Responsive is looking for a Partner Sales Manager to help us design, build, and implement a successful channel strategy for the APAC region.  Reporting to the UK-based VP Strategic Partnerships, you will foster relationships, enable partners, and drive market expansion. Success in this position will require: building a strong, productive relationship with existing partners, strategic identification, recruitment and onboarding of new partners, a focus on growing our business opportunities within the Global System Integrators (GSI), Regional System Integrators (RSI), Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), and ecosystem vendors and achievement of a marked increase in the number of partner-originated opportunities/deal registrations for the APAC region.

You'll be joining us at an exciting time with the opportunity to shape new alliances and partnerships and drive Responsive’s commercial business in the APAC region.

 

Key Responsibilities

Hunt & Build

  • Recruit high-value partners and transform them into revenue-generating powerhouses

  • Develop joint solutions that align with both partner and Responsive GTM strategies

  • Build and execute joint business plans with clear goals, measurement, and feedback loops

Collaborate & Enable

  • Work closely with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) as an overlay to drive new business through partnerships

  • Guide sales teams on optimal partner engagement strategies for maximum revenue impact

  • Conduct joint account planning and opportunity management with internal sales teams

Scale & Expand

  • Leverage partner Customer Success and Professional Services capabilities to drive predictable customer expansion

  • Support the scaling of Responsive's Services team through strategic partner integration

  • Build joint pipeline around partner offerings for co-selling opportunities

  • Represent Responsive in the region, acting as a subject matter expert and keeping abreast of the rapidly evolving market

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate College degree or equivalent experience (MBA a plus)

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in Channel sales in a software/SaaS B2B environment with a proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of partner sales management with both GSI/RSI and Cloud Service Providers

  • Proven track record in cloud or traditional VAR technology partnerships (ideally both)

  • Strategic thinker and hunter mentality who takes initiative and is capable of hands-on problem solving as well as ability to generate ideas and solutions.

  • New partner development experience as well as experience with decision makers within current relationships within the APAC region

  • Ability to communicate with partners at all levels

  • Motivated and focused self-starter with strong leadership skills who is able to multi-task, work independently or within a team.

  • Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Fluency with AI and the application of advanced technologies; a robust understanding of the rapidly evolving AI-driven PaaS and SaaS markets

A candidate’s starting base salary will be determined by the specific responsibilities of the role, as well as job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and current market trends. Our recruiting team will provide details on the applicable range based on your location during the hiring process. Responsive embraces a global flexible workforce model with offices across the USA, India and Europe. For this role, candidates located in Australia will be given priority consideration but other APAC locations will be considered.
