About the Role

Director of Product Marketing – Partner, Industry, and Services

We’re hiring a product marketing leader to join our high-performing team and help us rapidly scale the business. Reporting to the Vice President, Product Marketing, this is an ideal role for someone who thrives in growth-oriented ambiguous environments and can stand up new programs independently. We’re looking for a strategic generalist – part operator, part builder – who can jump in, take ownership, and drive foundational programs across several high-impact areas including partner, industry, and services marketing. This role is about determining what matters most, asking smart questions, surfacing tradeoffs, and focusing the team on the highest-impact work. You’ll be a trusted advisor on the product marketing leadership team and a key partner to leaders in sales, product, partnerships, and customer success. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to scale the functions you lead and build out dedicated teams.

You’ll join an agile, results-focused marketing organization that connects with customers and embraces AI, accelerating Responsive’s relevance and value as a pivotal technology in customers’ GTM tech stack.

What You'll Do

  • Operate as a Strategic Partner in Emerging Growth Areas:
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to develop and execute product marketing strategies that foster innovation and drive business growth.
  • Establish Foundation for Partner and Channel Growth:
    • Partner with the VP of Strategic Alliances to cultivate and manage relationships with key partners, focusing on revenue generation and expanding market reach.
  • Drive Co-Marketing Initiatives with Key Partners:
    • Lead co-marketing efforts with priority partners, strengthening relationships with partner organizations' marketing teams and scaling partner programs effectively.
  • Prioritize Industry Investments and Develop GTM Plans:
    • Recommend strategies for prioritizing investments in core industries and execute go-to-market plans to achieve growth targets aligned with business priorities.
  • Enable Commercial Teams and Expand Offerings:
    • Train commercial teams to effectively position and sell the expanded portfolio of offerings and partnerships, empowering them to succeed across diverse markets.
  • Drive Thought Leadership and Speaking Engagements:
    • Serve as a primary representative of Responsive at industry events, showcasing expertise and thought leadership to customers, prospects, analysts, and executives
  • Scale Growth and Operational Effectiveness with AI:
    • Identify opportunities to leverage AI to scale and accelerate impact across coverage areas, driving efficiency and innovation within the organization.

Who You Are

  • A sharp, strategic thinker with a track record of building high-impact programs from the ground up (0 to 1).
  • Skilled at creating clarity from ambiguity - able to prioritize quickly, gain traction fast, and focus teams on what matters most.
  • A strong communicator who brings clarity and conviction, whether guiding contractors, aligning cross-functional teams, or engaging with VP and C-level stakeholders.
  • Outcome-driven and relationship-oriented - you don’t just get things done, you get the right things done, with an eye toward long-term impact and collaboration.
  • Comfortable navigating high-growth, fast-changing environments where the only constant is the high bar for quality, clarity, and results.
  • A lifelong learner with a global perspective - curious, coachable, and consistently showing up as a trusted teammate.
  • Equally effective at strategic thinking and hands-on execution - you can zoom out or roll up your sleeves as needed.
  • Bonus: Experience leading go-to-market motions for AI solutions in the sales/marketing tech stack and scaling platforms / ecosystems.

Experience & Education

  • 10+ years of progressive product marketing experience; B2B SaaS industry experience preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in product marketing with progressive scope and leadership, including people management experience
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-channel marketing programs from brief to delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
